We Sincerely Thank Our Generous Sponsors...
In an effort to continue to support the programs and services our children love, the Parent Teacher Organizations of both Glenshire and Truckee Elementary Schools are hosting A-Deck-Affair, a fabulous night out on the deck of the River Ranch Restaurant and Lodge on May 8th.  Proceeds from this evening event will help your PTO maintain funding to the many programs that enrich and benefit our students’ school lives.  Our students will need PTO funding more than ever next year.

As many of you know, your PTO works to build a sense of community and enhance your student’s learning in academics, athletics and the arts.  In addition to hosting ●school-wide events, PTO monies traditionally provide ●cross-country ski equipment and trips, ●swimming lessons, ●assemblies, ●student performances, ●nutrition education, ●art docents, ●special tutoring services, ● teacher training, ●classroom supplies, ●educational family events, ●guest speakers in the classrooms, and ●a variety of field trips.  In recent years, your PTO has also been called upon to help fund purchases or programs our district budget could not allow for, including ●classroom swamp coolers, ●class projectors, ●field trip busing and ●the Special Friends counseling program.  Without continued fundraising efforts, many of these programs are likely to disappear, and we invite you to help keep them alive.
